The company today is under the competent leadership of Uday Kanth, CEO, Flyers Soft, who plates a range of services employed in fi elds as diverse from agriculture to fintech, from education to healthcare. Uday cemented his vision of starting his venture at the age of 26 with merely 4 years of Industry experience, zero capital to invest but immense confidence in his vision. He is a people’s man, aces the flair brilliantly of people management and has the right mind for suitable decision making. 

To guarantee a seamless performance for clients, they innovate in a variety of technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, mobility, digital marketing, web applications, IoT, and UX engineering. The Startup City Magazine, in a one on one conversation with the efficient leader, Uday discussed the company acting as a true backend technology partner, helping the business accelerate the development of desktop, mobile & web-based apps with on-demand developers that focus on moving your business forward; 

SCM:Tell us more about the company and the services you are offering. 

Uday:Flyers Soft specializes in reinventing the IT services for Start-ups “Fly Fast” and Enterprises “Fly Fab”. Our UX Workshops and Fixed cost MVP, allowed us to take a greater share of the start-up market and we minimize their risk of failure through robust development and testing practice. We are passionate about enabling Product owners and Entrepreneurs.

SCM:Why was the company set up? And how did you expand your company and its offerings over the years?

Uday:I was working as a Sr. Business Development Manager with a Bangalore based company and I’ve had the good fortune to meet with a lot of C-level people of more than 50 Independent Software vendorsISVs and Enterprises from a dozen industries. Our discussions have deepened my understanding of their pain points and desired business outcomes. I had ideas to help them with mordernising their core IT through assessing the technology which could be implemented to remove their pain points so that they can stay a step ahead of their competitors.

We started the company to revamp and refine the way the existing work and to create a respectful corporate culture. Fortunately, our employees were also passionate about learning technologies and reinventing society at scale, so our clients encouraged us with good projects in this short span of time.

SCM:What challenges did the company face before, during and after bringing in this solution? How did you resolve them?

Uday:A few, we had challenges in financial aspects because we decided that will not be investing even a single penny into the business, this is a zero capital organization. Here’s where things got interesting and tricky but the trust of our clients and our networks of technology friends helped me to overcome every hurdle.

SCM:What are the factors that make your company stand out in the market? Share a bit about your strategies to market your brand?

We started owning our client’s vision and indulging in their desires that made our clients feel good about our employees. Our strategy was very simple, respecting and recognizing the employees. We got a few references from our employees and we became stronger with each passing day. 

SCM:Who are your clients? How do you ensure the unbreakable faith of your clients?

Uday:Independent Software vendor and Enterprise companies are our clients. We created our own tools for client satisfaction survey and project management so that we increased the transparency rate and that further helped our clients to see our extra miles on a daily basis.

SCM:What do you feel are the factors behind your consistent growth as a trusted brand?

Uday:Our Excellence in Delivery is the major factor. Our strong belief in recognizing and celebrating our success. The enthusiasm of our team. We embrace DevOps and technologies like cloud, digital engineering, analytics, AI and automation.

SCM:What are the trending tools and impediments you notice in your field? How do you embed those trends into your solutions?

Uday:New tools keep introducing in the market every other day, but at Flyers Soft, mostly, we use third-party tools limited. We have a long-term plan to serve and we are meticulously building our own MVPs to bridge the third-party tools.

SCM:Shed light on your team. What ethos is maintained for the employees in your company?

Uday: We have young energetic employees with diversified experience in data management; digital engineering, Cloud, and IoT, their vision and passion for technology are great. Teamwork and Coherent culture are the ethos maintained for the employees in our company

SCM:How do you portray the future of your company? Tell us about your achievements. 

Uday: The plan for the future is to develop a simple, secure, user-friendlyPaaS product for Agriculture and Food industry with fresh perspectives and further, we are also looking into collaborating with industry experts. At present, in terms of awards, we do not have any as of now, we didn’t plan for it. Our milestone was to ensure working rigorously towards reaching the goal of INR 50 Lakh in 5 months through IT services and we achieved it, and now meeting the plan to launch our first Product by May’20 to enable and enhance the Food industry and people around it.

SCM:What advice would you give to other aspiring entrepreneurs who are venturing into the same domain?

Uday:One piece of advice that I would like to share with the young heads would be, to have a clear business plan along with SWOT analysis. Once you have this with you only then you will be able to crack the ways of the market movements and changing trends because the opportunities out there are innumerable. There has to be consistency in the behaviour and nature will allow you to meet the right people to collaborate and celebrate to reach your goal.

SCM:Has your company been associated with corporate social responsibilities?

Uday:Yes, we have a separate team at Flyers Soft that takes care of all the activities associated with CSR. Now we have also started to focus on planting tree seedlings and conduct happy programs for the people living in orphanages and the homeless ones.
